Located on Bai Dai beach, the hospital, which is Vingroup's second in Viet Nam, is the first international healthcare facility to offer high-quality medical services to local people as well as tourists and contributes to promoting tourism on the island.
The hospital, which has been constructed on a total investment of VND1trillion (US$47 million), is spread over 19,000sq.m and has 150 beds, 11 functional departments of 10 medical specialties, and advanced equipment.
Vinmec International Hospital's General Director Nguyen Thanh Liem said that Vinmec Phu Quoc will not only provide high-quality services to local people and visitors but also offer special medical-tourism products in the future.
In the initial phase, the hospital plans to examine 26,000 patients and treat 4,000 inpatients in a year. —VNS
