Vingroup Announces Grand Opening Of VinPearl Phu Quoc Resort


November 1, 2014 -- Vingroup today announced the grand opening of VinPearl Phu Quoc Resort after only ten months of construction. This resort is the largest on Phu Quoc Island, features the island’s first golf course, and marks the island’s emergence as an international standard resort destination.

Notably, on opening day the resort reached full occupancy with both local and foreign visitors, including guests arriving via four charter flights from Russia, China and Korea .[LTKT1] 

Located on one of the five most beautiful beaches in the world[LTKT2] , Vinpearl Phu Quoc covers more than 300 hectares, boasting 750 luxurious hotel rooms and villas, a modern amusement park and, an IMG-designed 27-hole golf course.

From November 26 to December 6, VinPearl Phu Quoc Resort hosted the final round of the Miss Vietnam 2014 Pageant. On Coronation Night, VinPearl Phu Quoc Resort  featured a performance by the world famous singer Kelly Clarkson.
